Beauty is...
I've been working on my watercolor final in which we have to respond to the statement "beauty is".
I went through a couple of thought processes starting with things like beauty is growth, beauty is ephemeral, beauty is changing...and somehow I ended up with something that doesn't really have as clear a thought process as i was planning.
So here is the initial sketch idea and color study. These are only about 9x12, but the final will be 18x24.

Get to know me!
So this is my first blog every!
I am an illustration student at Cal State Long Beach, and I think it's about time I started getting my stuff out there.
Hopefully this will be a place to share my sketches, ideas, and finished works.
